Producer/Project Manager

Agora Games, a company that offers online services to the video game industry, is looking to hire a Producer/Project Manager.

Position – Producer/Project Manager

The ideal candidate is a highly motivated, energetic individual with production experience in the gaming industry. They are passionate about the continued growth in the video gaming industry and want to make a direct impact on this company's bottom line. They are action-oriented, hands-on, and self-directed, with an entrepreneurial work ethic. This professional will be comfortable in a leadership role and with working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Own strategic team-wide production planning, systems, and communication.
• Direct the development of multiple software projects, from design through implementation.
• Manage day-to-day production issues.
• Develop and maintain the overall project plan to determine resource, budgetary and time requirements.
• Manage the communication between team members, outside developers, consultants and the client.
• Work with the leadership team to create an organizational structure and processes that allow the team to efficiently produce high quality work on time and on budget.
• Passionately articulate goals and team principles to help form a stimulating and fun work environment/culture.
• Determine market needs and wants through an ongoing relationship with customers and partners.

Experience

• 3-5 years of project management experience, preferably in the software field.
• Comfortable with project management software, Gantt charts, timelines, and milestones.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience and interest in the video game industry, on a professional or personal basis.
• Bachelor's degree in a technology-oriented field, with a Master's in Business Administration a plus.
